First Street Family Health is offering molecular COVID 19 testing in Salida, CO. They are currently Open for new patients. You can call or visit them anytime MONDAYTHURSDAY: 8:00 A.M. 7:30 P.M.; FRIDAYS: 8:00 A.M. 5:00 P.M.; SATURDAYS: 8:30 A.M. 12:00 P.M.. If you are showing symptoms of respiratory illness (fever, cough, shortness of breath), or if you are concerned about a possible COVID-19 exposure, PLEASE CALL 719-539-6637 ext 20, to speak to medical staff first. If they are a patient of First Street, they can be seen via telehealth same day and tested.
If they are not a patient, they will be set up with a same day/next day telehealth visit for evaluation and testing. All testing will be done carside in the FSFH parking lot and processed through the hospital lab. Any lab charge from the hospital/Mayo could be applied.
If patients are insured their insurance will be billed for an office visit, but if they are undocumented/uninsured they will not receive a bill from the office. Any additional co-pay or coinsurance will likely be waived in light of viral crisis.
