Hayward, Alameda Co, Cal State East Bay is offering molecular COVID 19 testing in Hayward, CA. They are currently Closed for new patients. You can call or visit them anytime Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, the testing center may close early if it uses all tests available for that day.. This replaces the Hayward Fire St. #7 testing site. Health care workers can call ahead for an appointment.
People who present themselves at the testing center by car or on foot will go through a two-step screening process before being administered a test. At curbside check-in points, we will screen people for COVID-19 symptoms and suitability for testing. Once verified, people to be tested will move to a testing tent for COVID-19 testing and afterward receive discharge instructions. At the direction of the Alameda County Health Officer, members of the general public must be symptomatic for COVID-19 infection and have a fever over 100 degrees in order to be tested. COVID-19 symptoms include a cough and shortness of breath.
