Covington County Hospital is offering molecular COVID 19 testing in Covington County, MS. They are currently Open for new patients. You can call or visit them anytime Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.. On Tuesday, July 7, Covington County Hospitals Covid-19 Drive-Thru Testing Center will relocated to the old Claytons Pharmacy at 301 Hospital Boulevard in Collins.
The larger location features two lanes of testing. A physicians order is not required to be tested, but insurance information will be requested. The CCH testing center features a rapid test, meaning individuals will be called with results within 24 hours of being tested. These providers require that you have symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested: a fever of 100.4 or greater and severe cough or chest pain. You should call ahead before visiting to make testing arrangements.
